About this product

Product Overview

This portable fibreglass fireproof mat is an essential safety accessory for outdoor camping, picnics, and backyard barbecues in Australia. Crafted from highly heat-resistant and flame-retardant glass fibre material, it acts as a durable protective barrier between your campfire, gas stove, or BBQ grill and the delicate surfaces of your ground tent, picnic mat, or wooden deck. It effectively blocks high temperatures and flying sparks, preventing burns, scorch marks, and costly damage to your equipment and the natural environment.

Key Features

• High-Temperature Glass Fibre Material: Constructed from premium special glass fibre, this mat is non-combustible, anti-corrosive, and capable of withstanding extreme heat, providing a reliable and safe thermal shield for your outdoor activities.

• Protects Ground Tents and Surfaces: Designed to be placed under portable wood stoves, gas burners, or campfires to prevent the intense heat from damaging your groundsheet, tarp, or grass. Please note that prolonged exposure to open flames may cause minor blackening or deformation, which is normal and does not affect performance.

• Foldable and Lightweight: Weighing approximately 150g and featuring a compact 46 x 44 cm footprint when folded, it easily fits into a backpack or storage bag, making it incredibly convenient to carry on long hikes or weekend camping trips.

• Multi-Purpose Outdoor Use: Beyond fire protection, it can serve as a heat-resistant pad for messy food preparation, a clean barrier when placing hot cookware down, or a protective layer under a grill to keep your campsite tidy.

• Durable Woven Texture: The tightly woven fibreglass structure ensures longevity and resistance to wear and tear in harsh outdoor conditions.
